Basell's Technology Services
Basell’s Technology Services provides technical and engineering services to licensees by leveraging on Basell know how, best practices and technical experience in the polyolefins field. Technology Services operate in coordination with the other parts of Technology Business for the activities related to the existing and perspective licensees. Basell’s Technology Services offers competencies in a.o. engineering and projects management, feasibility studies, process design packages.
Other activities include assistance in:
- Products customisation and development
- Manufacturing, including quality, maintenance, safety, production planning, logistics
- In general all technical areas embraced by polyolefins where Basell has experience and knowledge which can generate a specific assistance activity to third parties
In addition our Technology service provides continuation to the licensing business through:
- Training and Start up’s assistance to run the licensees and JV’s plants
- Process and product improvements delivery to licensees on a yearly basis
- Help desk and site assistance for troubleshooting, revamping, products customization, quality and safety issues
