LyondellBasell’s PP homopolymer grades are selected by customers for use in spunbond and melt blown (including composite fabric, SMS) fabrics as well as staple fibers.
Our extensive portfolio of PP grades can provide necessary attributes such as retention, air permeability, high tensile strength, barrier properties and rapid absorption. Based on our state-of-the-art polymerisation processes and catalyst technologies, our resins can deliver product homogeneity, high output capability and reliable spinnability. Our metallocene-based Metocene resins can prolong die life, require no peroxide and can deliver a very clean product that eliminates spinning smoke.
